I use a variety of shapes and colors and enjoy the neon for the colors and the reflecting qualities it gives to the Brushed Aluminum. I also use what I call 3D leveling in my pieces to give different neon colors to separate layers, thus creating depth and glowing accents to my works. I love creating my works and its a special bonus to have others enjoy my work as well. I approach each piece with great anticipation and enthusiasm.Using Vibrant neon colors, I explore color and simple forms that

Mystical-Dan is a tribute piece to the Designer, Dan Fryman who taught me what I have dubbed "The Earthquake Style" that he frequently designed his award winning homes with. Dan, passed away this year at the young age of 38. His talent and friendship will be missed, but "The Earthquake Style" will live on through my Art . This piece is for you Dan God Bless.........

Self-taught and trained, Tony Viscardi has developed his skills over the years of sculpting brushed aluminum. He encourages others to fulfill their dreams by following their own direction and inspiration. Viscardi is recognized across the country as one of the most talented fine artist around. Viscardi has been featured on Television on HGTVs THATS CLEVER, many national and local news shows as well as several printed stories in local and national publications. Tony Viscardi, is known as the explosive Rockstar of the Art World, and global top selling artist! His world of art invites us into his lighthearted perspective of life surrounding us, with whimsical designs, brushed aluminum, and even neon lights. His Sculptures are all thought provoking and full of creative fun enigmatic illusion. He has dedicated himself to raising money for charities to help cure cancer in memory of his Mother and regularly donates pieces to local charities for their events and auctions. Viscardi's work is highly collected by young and old from all walks of life including movie stars, rock stars and private collectors. Some of the most note worthy people who have Viscardis works include, Kim Kardashin, Kat Von D, Occ (Orange County Choppers, Chop The King of Cars, Holy Madison, Tantric (Band) and more Viscardis imaginative world of art is seen by millions of people each month world wide through his website, galleries, hotels, television, magazines and stores. Viscardis unique portrayal of art is an exciting combination of imagination and often subtle humor which evoke and engage the creative side in all of his fun and whimsical works. Today Tony Viscardi is considered one of the most prolific and influential metal artists of our time.Viscardi's mediums of brushed aluminum and neon come from a lifelong fascination with interchanging lights and the love of Art Deco design. Many of his sculptures evolve from a desire to see layers and shapes incorporated into my passion for contemporary design. His more recent passion is the development of outdoor monumental sculptures. Monumental sizes of 7ft. to 2 stories high have given me the self-gratification that many artists only desire. These sculptures in both public and private locations are one of his dreams come true. Along the way in His artist career he has adapted other mediums into his primary focus of aluminum and neon. Glass, fabric, marble, mirrors, water and Plexiglas are a few that he has enjoyed creating with. Viscardi continues to play with other forms and incorporate them into his creations. Each piece is created daily with an artistic approach. The machinery that Viscardi uses is often viewed as industrial and lifeless. Using a plasma cutter, jigsaw, grinders, sanding discs, slip roller, and Brake (metal cutting device) are often what companies, factories and industries use. Machinery of this sort is not thought of often in the art world. Creating art with these devices is a fascinating way for Viscardi to spend his days. Viscardi enjoys seeing his various sanding techniques cause the metal to come to life. Neon incorporated into some of these pieces gives each work a glowing beauty. Some are subtle with backlit colors shining through while others are stark and vibrant. Viscardi's clients who collects his art pieces as well as the companies whove sought commissions are fascinated with the creations as they are often viewed as jewelry that enhances their location. Viscardi began his art career years ago splattering paints on canvas. He found metal to be fascinating while exploring different mediums and became amazed that such an industrial form could be transformed into a work of "Art". Metal becoming contemporary art that designers incorporate into residences and businesses is a reality that he enjoys each day. America is made of entrepreneurs who had a dream. Being a self taught artist who began in his garage and created his way into a studio allowed Viscardi to leave his factory career of ten years during 2003. Creating artwork is Viscardi's career and passion. Traveling to art shows across the country is one of the joys that allows him to share a piece of his world with his collectors. Commissioning sculptures for both businesses and residences allows Viscardi to place pieces in parts of the world I may never travel too. Both of tall hese endeavors , Viscardi's artist career has created the reality of The American Dream for himself. Regardless if the piece is for an individual or a corporation, when others "enjoy my work", that creates "my success".

Profile thanks
Profile very nice
Profile As Michael says it has a calming effect. It also reminds me of those pictures of the planet's surface taken from a satalite outside the Earth's envelope. The guy who inspired this technique must have been quite something. davidB: )
Profile I cant help but get a wonderful sensation of tranquility from this work as if I were swimming in some lush tropical ocean calmly watching sea creatures float carelessly by. I really like this work very much! M. Sprouse www.sprouseart.com
