I am proud to be a Bob Ross Certified Instructor in Sussex & Hampshire, UK. Until I watched Bob Ross on the TV show "The Joy of Painting", I had no clue how to paint, or what medium to use: I was an absolute no-hoper, no-talent beginner. I tried Bob's method and discovered that I could create beautiful scenery just like he did. In time, you develop your own original ideas and style, but it is still a great place to start learning.I trained to be a Bob Ross Instructor in Roermond, Holland, and am now qualified to teach Landscape, Seascape, Florals and Wildlife. Grateful thanks to the Bob Ross Teacher Trainers, Carol Bernards, Pat Mabe, Ellen Tye and Darryl Clubb for their time and committment to training me and others in these techniques.Bob's technique has changed my life, because now I can pass on that "Joy" to other people. I teach classes with my partner Paul Ranson, who is also a Certified Bob Ross Instructor. There is a very special feeling that comes from helping a very scared individual to create their first masterpiece that they are proud to hang on their wall. When you can teach people how to paint, you can help them to change their lives, too. Somehow, it's like Bob said, you get issued with a new set of eyes that help you to appreciate the beauty of the world around you.Paul & I also teach the Bob Ross Floral and Wildlife techniques. Since being able to paint animals, it has re-kindled my passion about helping to save endangered species. We should never take animals for granted, they truly are magnificent, and we should not allow them to disappear from our planet. When you study animals up close, you realise how spectacular Mother Nature is. Next time you look at a butterfly, see how many colours and patterns there are on their on their tiny wings.During each year, Paul and I take part in a number of Craft Shows in Sussex and Hampshire to promote our classes. We demonstrate the Bob Ross technique in a series of half-hour paintings, as well as running small workshops for the public to have a go. All of our events are posted on our main website Bob Ross Classes in Sussex & Hampshire UK
