*** THERE ARE MANY MORE PRINTS AVAILABLE ON MY WEBSITE: www.visionsbydave.com ***Visions by Dave features the photography of Dave Haworth, a Southern California based photographer. He Specializes in Seeing the World Around Us, primarily photographing Landscapes and People. His interest in photography grew out of a love for life and need to explore the world around him. Whether his exploration leads him just down the street or far abroad, he is photographing the interesting and beautiful aspects of the World around him. While describing his love of photography he stated, We all live life differently and we all see the world from different perspectives. Photography allows one to step into anothers point of view sharing it for others to gain an understanding, either for education or just plain enjoyment. Dave focuses on Landscape photography because he enjoys exploring and the relaxation of spending time outdoors. He enjoys photographing seascapes, urban areas, National/State Parks and places that have the character of weathered time. Dave describes his Landscape Photography; I try to compose my pictures to draw people into the photograph, in a sense leading their eye movement. In other instances I will try to isolate an object that will give you a sense of where I am or just to provoke a thought. I would like to inspire people to slow down and see what is around them. Maybe they will see something that most people walked right on by missing the hidden beauty of the world around them. He is an avid people watcher, very outgoing and loves to meet, get to know and understand people from all walks of life. Seeking out people to photograph, he looks for those who are interesting, have character, inner beauty or who portray sense romance and sexuality. Capturing his subjects' unique personality whether realistic or their alter ego with a bit of fantasy is his goal. Dave put it like this, At times I will just go to events or places that people congregate to photograph what is happening around me. Its like people watching, but the moment has been captured forever. Street Photography was the precursor to Reality TV, made famous by photographers such as Garry Winogrand and Louis Faurer." Dave Haworths photographs are intended to share how he sees the world, with the hope that they will inspire others to slow down to see and enjoy the world around us. These are the Visions by Dave.
