Seller Comments... Brigid Marlin, the great artist and founder of the Society for Art of the Imagination wrote a book of her spiritual journey titled “From East to West, Awakening to a spiritual search": this painting was inspired by this book. In the chapter about Evil she wrote: “I knew that in a painting the dark shadows are needed to display the light. Darkness has a legitimate place. It can supply energy. An eastern proverb says: “Angel sits on your right shoulder and a devil on your left, and in the friction between the two we make our souls”
