This is a Canadian Maritime scene of an old lighthouse. Strangely, these valuable structures have all but disappeared, however the (weather related) events still remain the same. In fact, likely even worsening as global warming continues. That's what I wanted to depict with an illustration. The painting is done in our highest quality oils, and carefully framed by professionals.
William H. Hall - Oil Painter & Illustrator His preferred media is oil and his paintings usually take 40-60 hours to complete. Bill has been painting and cartooning for 50 years and his works have been used for traditional "living room" viewing. However, his work has also been used for magazine and story illustration and it is not uncommon to see his paintings hanging in military clubs, mess halls and professional offices in both North America and Europe. Bill uses only the highest quality materials with commercially stretched canvas. Most of his paintings are professionally framed upon completion.
