I create art because I am addicted to the process;the unexplainable surge of inspiration coupled with the intimacy of the material culminates into a final presentation and release. Whether I am painting, photographing, modeling, or crafting, I attempt my works to be a welcome relief from boredom and reality and to invoke the viewer to see whats beyond the surface. While I try not to commit to either realism or abstraction (preferring instead to lurk somewhere between surrealism and distorted reality), my key subjects are humor, love, sensuality, and passion---representing my thoughts and desires, my happiness and dreams, the offspring of struggles ---life in bits and pieces.More recently, I have created many new works reflecting upon a new journey in my life and I am most pleased for my new style, which is yet in infancy.I hope you enjoy!
