Usually my work is based on esthetics and form in line of visual arts but sometimes digression occurs, based on certain problems provoked by my own issues. Sometimes it could be small injustice which point out more serious problem over fate of individual.
In this cycle underlines my own thoughts on phenomena of PROGRESS. Although we (human race) proudly highlight it, the other side of golden medal is not so bright. Progress stands for thorough and drastic change. Sort of chain reaction, which demolishes everything in front itself, without waiting for anyone or anything. It is terrifying well known paradigm: Nothing must stand in the way of progress, whether it alludes on ideological or physical aspect. Breaking of atom caused hundreds of thousands of victims, what will bring proton collisions?
Whole cycle is executed in manual printmaking technique of dry point. Dimension of 50x100cm (19.7x39inch)
Born 1978 in Cuprija, Serbia. Graduated 2001 at the Faculty of Fine Arts - Graphic department in Pristina. Post-graduate studies finished during 2007, at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade - Graphic department.Full member of ULUS (Union of Fine Artists of Serbia) since 2005.
