This gorgeous ORIGINAL NEW piece of art work was created by exhibited artist Darius White. TWO WORLDS ONE STATE ponders the unusual societal dimension in the state of Michigan where women are valued over men. Examine Michigan divorce law for a glimpse into what this artist experienced as a man growing up in this state that sort of stands the traditional treatment of women on-end in some very specific ways. This beautiful expressive piece may mean something entirely different to you (does to me, for sure!).

This is a Prismacolor lightfast pencil composition Art area=9 5/8x10 5/8" Heavy grey 60LB Strathmore paper 12x18". Color is applied heavily. Pigments therefore appear to be almost an applied cream. People are amazed that pencils were used at all. However pigment is completely fixed and dry. It does not smudge or come off on hands, other papers or objects or the glass of frames.
