The Thunderbird is a Work of Art, handcarved by George Goodman of Thomson, GA. The Native American Thunderbird is handcarved from Black Soapstone mined in Pacolet Mills, SC and measures 1 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" tall. I chose Sterling Silver Beads and Beautiful Turquoise to further enhance the beauty of the Thunderbird. The necklace is 16" Long with Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp, but I could lengthen it with a Chain if so desired. There is only one of these necklaces for that lucky guy or lady. Another piece of beautiful jewelry art from the studio of Marion Berry that HAS SOLD!

Beauty can be described in many ways. As a jewelry artist, I discover beauty in exquisite beads, they speak to me when I am in an Artist Studio or out on one of my adventures selecting just the right beads for my next designs.I use the term unique to describe my jewelry designs, because my designs come from an appreciation of the beautiful beads, and all of my designs come from within. I do not use pictures or any other medium to help me in designing my jewelry.Which come first, the jewelry designs or the beads? In my case, inspirations always come from the beads first. Then with the right beads the designs naturally flow into place.I choose designs that show off the true beauty of the beads used. All of my designs will have a pattern throughout the design. The focal part of the necklace or bracelet is always the center of my attention in designing. Once the focal element is complete, the others flow into place.I would consider all of my designs timeless, including some that would be considered classics.I find it a true joy to work with beads. I trust you enjoy my jewelry designs as much as I enjoy creating them.My designs are featured in Galleries in SC, NC and GA. I do shows throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, USA.
