Part 4 of a continuing series exploring geometric shapes and color combinations against ambient space.

Adam Malin specializes in abstract art, working mainly in acrylics and glazes. In addition to a fine arts degree from State University of Stony Brook in New York, he has had additional formal art training at the Brooklyn Museum and continues studies at the Santa Clarita Arts Studio with reknowned artist John Ursillo.Malin describes his art as "inspirational, drawn from the passions and energies I experience in places around the U.S. and abroad. I take these impulses and translate them to canvas".Malin is also developing a series of landscape pieces, inspired by mountain and seascapes from Hawaii, California and the American Southwest.Malin has an eclectic range of artistic inspirations, ranging from Bosch, Degas, Klimt, NC and Andrew Wyeth, Maxfield Parrish to more recent talents like Frazetta, Jalami, Jacobucci and many more.Malin has recently been featured in three juried art shows: Ojai, Toluca Lake and Brentwood, all in California. His work is also on display in B and R Gallery in Canyon Country, California, and is exhibited from time to time in Santa Clarita Artists Association shows (the most recent being at Barnes and Noble, Valencia, California).Malin resides in beautiful Sand Canyon, part of Canyon Country, California, with his beloved wife, two children and dachshund.
