Piazza Frescobaldi uses Magic Realism in it's design. This happens because the image has been stretched to the right and to the left to add more space to what you could actually see. When you stand where the fountain is in Firenze, you can only see one street at a time. I have added a fourth dimensional quality to this image by combining the left and the right into the center. A detailed aricle about this process is available on my website: http://www.mattbates.net/Magic-Realism.htm
