Theologians struggle to find words to desribe what this painting says in image. The word Obake is Japanese meaning both ghost and transformation. This Christian Obake is ascending towards God. God is represented as God the father (hand) God the Son (Cross in the hand) and God the Holy Spirit (Flame in the hand) The Cross and Flame are more visable at a different angle, in fact the whole painting changes depending upon the angle one views it at. One angle emphasises more of the earthly, temporal, the other the more eternal, Spiritual. I have the other angle view of this painting at my artisticnetwork.net website, just click on the link to see it
I find the greatest satisfaction teaching art. I enjoy helping someone else learn to create their own art, in their own style. I really have no interest in selling anything.I am a student at East Tennessee State University. I have a Facebook account Jerry Boone or facebook.com/jerrybomb . Friends around the world is what I like. See if you can learn to make your own art before you buy someone elses. The art you make yourself is priceless.
