This is a silkpainting.French dyes on 100% pure crepe silk.After the painting has dried thoroughly,the silk is steamed in a steamer for 3-4 hours during which chemical reactions takes place and bonds the dyes to the silk permanently.To fully appreciate the beauty of silk paintings,it is best to frame(sandwich is a better word)between two glasses.
