This piece is called a Triptek. It is three scenes with the same subject, and was inspired by my son's song which sounded to me to have 3 sections. Thank you so much for the critique..I value all comments.Rosalie

Thanks! The sky reference is to the way the light from the sky through the curved shutting made curved shadows on the wall.Best wishes, david :>)

MargoZ: Yes it is photography, only departing from the original using two (2) primary elements: duplicatiion, and selective cropping, after-which the duplicate copy is remarried with the original along a common edge. I refer to this technique as 'Sinergi3s of Confluence' (SinCon)- for, as you can see, there is a synergy of visual information at the place (confluence) where the duplicate and original come back together, thereby revealing a whole new set of visual references that didn't exist beforehand. In the basic SinCon technique these actions are only using elements of the original image to reconstruct the final result. If you notice a 'misspelling' of the term synergies (sinergi3s), it is intentional, and is a referent to the personal origins of this way of working. Though there are instances where I will add something, not from the original (a foreign component), I try to make it obvious that it is not from the original, and is always because the image at that state is telling me to add that element (see previous replies to you). In this case, as in the last, no aspect of the final form of the original was added, it only resources the original singular frame. In this work, 'Celebration of 1', there are two images posted in the page ( http://dart.fine-art.com/art-172722/sam-smith/%27celebration-of-1%27 ), one the final form the image has taken, and the second the singular frame (the original) from which the end result was derived. Enough visual clues are there to inform you as to exactly how the work was made, and indeed was my intention for including the original photo. In the last image, 'Icarus TerminUS' you commented on, no secondary image (original) was posted, as I assumed that the original, since it was in plain sight (in front of its' two (2) duplicates), was obvious as to how it was made...as always I much appreciate your interest in my works…sam
