Through my art history studies
I believe I have seen this portrait before?
I could be wrong and have seen this portrait
in a publication!Any way this is a strong
dramatic composition. Nice palette would
like to see more detail in the shadows.
The eyes save this piece!

Thanks for your critique. This is an original painting by myself so I can't imagine where you may have run across it in your Art History Studies, it was however published in the April 2002 edition of Arts and Antiques Magazine and it is also printed as a large scale giclee on canvas by Ariel Of France and is sold in galleries and design stores across the US and Canada. Perhaps you may have seen it in one of those venues.
