Yellow is such a strong color that it can easily overtake any work of art. This photograph takes full advantage of yellow's strength by making it the focal point. The use of shadows created by fabric folds to change the tonality results in a crisper picture. The vectors created from the gemstone at the neck and the swag in the back lead the eye to a white resting place, enhancing the vibrancy of the photo. Finally, the use of pale blue on the arm band sets off the yellow and breaks up the white. That small touch keeps the photograph from feeling stagnant. Great work!
