Art is kind of haunting with the stark contrast of black, white and reds. Melancholy is a great word for this piece, as you can catch the essence of the subject in the far off gaze and set of her mouth. Reminds me of an unmasked harlequin with the mismatched eye makeup. I like the tone on tone (barely there) white tank top over the very white skin tone.
