I love the combination of man-made grafik realities and how they inter-relate with the more tonal world, as though the padestrian is being 'gamed', or transported to a real-life game board such as Monopoly. I suppose in some ways it is a truism of the urban environment. A beautiful image non-the-less.

I don't wish to counter what you said about contradiction, which I entirely agree with, but I also think about seeing it in the context of an X-ibition. Long after my departure from an xhibit the memories that play back in my mind are often related to the works I spent the most time in front of (i can imagine spending quite a bit of time in front of thes one). So perhaps when 'Vivid' is portrayed in what seems counter to its 'meaning', is more vivid in the after tast of its viewing than given credit for. A great idea, would love to see a versio... (more)

Now that your attention has been piqued by the overall rating #, know that this has other purpose and is more closly aligned with that place, due to the gravity of it all, I don't find to be a particularly pleasurable place to be touched. Hope you have followed thru with application to London Tube athority to have this work placed where the public has access. Though it touches in places we may not like, these are places not to be forgotten, upon which an improved future of civility for ALL may be constructed. Quite visually engaging!
