This gesture is FULL of movemnent, lift, and kinetic tension 1/16/2009 2:59 PM
This is what I really like to see in paintings of dancers. My own anatomical figures are more crude, but in their crudeness, I still feel that I capture a sense of kinetic tension and movement that I trained in my body for years. You might disagree, of course. My OMICRONS are what I'm thinking of at the moment -- again, crude, muscular brutes in comparison to Diane's work here.

Hiver (Winter) by Diane Tremblay 1/11/2009 3:49 AM
I was so moved when I first saw this piece. the colors, texture, strokes all came together in a way that made me actually feel the breeze, the cold, the drawing of strength from the moon. Beautiful work, wonderful gift of talent! I see that although I picked a critique number of 5 the site writes "Picasso" by the number, no, I feel that her work is better, Picasso never moved me the way this work does.

Very Beautiful 12/7/2008 1:48 PM
I enjoy the way you created an environment, a place that feels safe. I always enjoy the use of textures that you incorporate into your works as well.
