I was born in City of Baku, Azerbaijan (one of the republics of the former USSR).
I graduated from the Architectural College in Azerbaijan at the top of my class. Then I worked for the City of Baku as an assistant of the executive architect.
In 1990 I came to the USA. I started to paint back in school. I'm painting for over 30 years now.
My father was a well known artist in Azerbaijan, so I guess the love of art is just runs in the blood.
