Artist: Richard Wong
Hi. My name is Richard Wong and I’m a 29 year-old photographer based in the L.A. area. I was born and raised in California so this is where I feel most connected to my photography subjects. I was primarily influenced by scenic landscape photography when I began photographing in the late 90’s. As I developed as a photographer, I took an interest to the story-telling qualities of photojournalism and spontaneity of street photography and have sought to blend these various styles together into that of my own.
Professionally, I license my photos through rights-managed photography agencies in addition to licensing them through this website along with selling archival fine art prints of my work. Photos have been published in books, brochures, calendars, magazines, newspapers and textbooks around the world.
Perhaps most importantly, I'm a Southern California photographer and not part of the paparazzi...
