Artist: Mary Liarte
Self-taught, born in Zaragoza, Spain on a snowy morning on 18th of January, however lives in the tropical Caracas, Venezuela since her childhood. Her dedication toward drawing and painting appeared in 2001 when facing the empty nest syndrome. Since then she submerged herself on the search for knowledge that would allow her to express herself with different media. In Caracas attends the workshops of the visual Arts School “Cristóbal Rojas”, of The Bellas Artes Museum, as well as other independent artists. She likes figurative art, feeling preference for faces and expressions. Working with live models, gives her a special pleasure.
Autodidacta, Nacida en Zaragoza, España un 18 de Enero que amaneció nevando, vive desde su niñez en la tropical Caracas, Venezuela. Su dedicación por el dibujo y la pintura aparece en el año 2001. cuando se enfrenta al síndrome del Nido Vacio. Desde entonces se sumerge en una búsqueda de conocimientos que le ayuden a expresarse con los diferentes medios. En Caracas, asiste a Talleres de la Escuela de Artes Visuales “Cristóbal Rojas”, de la Fundación Museo de Bellas Artes y con otros artistas particulares. Le gusta el arte figurativo, sintiendo preferencia por rostros y expresiones. Trabajar con modelos en vivo le proporciona un especial disfrute.
