Mary McCravy began drawing in early elementary school and excelled not only at producing striking works, but at helping others produce striking works as well. After retiring from K-12+ public and state school teaching in 1992, McCravy now teaches all ages the art of calligraphy, drawing and watercolor. McCravy produces mostly monotype, watercolor and fiber works.
McCravy's work was shown at NAFA's Ele Gallery from 1992 to 1998, and she served as President of the Garret Art Gallery in St. Louis for 5 years. McCravy's works have twice won top honors from Art Educators of Missouri. McCravy holds three bachelor's degrees and two master's degrees, specializing in fine art, education and business management.
