Coffee art is a truly unique art form that requires a thoughtful and delicate touch. Capturing the depth of these classic works is possible through a slow and sophisticated process, building layers upon layers of espresso. Each painting contains 100% pure coffee on watercolor paper with no preservatives or additives.

Dear Fellow Art Lovers :

I have a close friend that recreates famous paintings using 100% pure coffee on water color paper. The paintings are truly amazing and I am in love with the entire concept. I'd love to hear what other artists think about the idea she has going of recreating famous paintings in coffee, like Mona Latte, Americano Gothic, & Lady of Chocolat.

Here in Tulsa, Oklahoma the paintings have seen a hugely positive response from the college scene as well as the sophisticated adult crowd. Many of Karen's originals are hanging in Tulsa's best coffee house, Nordaggio's at 81st & Lewis.

You can see her work on www.coffee-art.com. She also has a new gallery on the DART website here: http://dart.fine-art.com/dGallery.asp?i=24331.

I look forward to your critiques!
