Does anybody know where to buy the frames or molding?
I want to frame some of my work, especially one that is a triptych and the angles of the canvas are not 90 degrees. When I went to a framing store and I was amazed of how much it was going to cost me to frame. I don’t have another option, other than doing it myself. I build the stretcher so I might as well do the frame too.
I discovered that places where you order the molding or frame are some kind of secret information that only the framing stores know. The only online site where I could find moldings was at dickblick.com. They have a section where they sell it by the foot, but I didn`t like the ones that I saw.
I have to use a frame heavy and strong enough, because the Panels(canvas) are going to be attached together by hinges on the frame( I want them to resemble those religious panels).

Any info will be very much appreciated.
