I have sent my work out to a variety of publishers, etc, etc, etc, etc, and it ALL comes back, no surprise here, with "Does not fit in with our present criteria..."
However, I have ONE question, one letter came back stating...
"However, ART *** ****'s market is of a more decorative/commercial nature and unfortunatly...blah blah blah.."
Do they mean bland and boring by "decorative/commercial"????
I looked at thier website, and most of it was bland and boring, I thought that they might want to spice up thier line a bit! :)
This particular company ALSO said, "You are more than welcome to resubmit your portfolio for publication review should you try a new look or venture into a new style."
That was more than I got from anyone else.
I am always doing something different. All I want to know is why why why, I am a two year old, and I need to know "WHY?"
Whatever, oh well, keep on pluggin' away...gets discouraging, I can identify with you plight wigh galleries, James Brown....
one can only take so much rejection...
