Works in the "Sculpted" Series are individually sculpted in bas-relief on board then painted in many layers od pure egg tempera. The works are incredibly textural and luminous with light.The artist makes her own paint from natural minerals such as lapis lazuli, malachite, slate and ochres from ancient mines in France and Italy.
