Dear Mr. Polkest
Thank you for your post concerning my uncle, Thomas J. Frumpkin. You know, your question is very interesting but I actually know very little about Unk’s lineage. What I do know has to be contaminated by my father’s views. “That snake of an uncle of yours just showed up here one day married to your Aunt Maggie”. He arrived long before I took my ride down the slide into life. I am certain though, that his genes are sopping wet with traitordom, alcoholism and cavorting around.
Now, as far as the history of my MacKinnon side of the family, I am a little more familiar. The best part can be found on the back of any large bottle of Dramboie. The “keep this to yourself” side is that we were escorted off the Isle of Sky because one of my relatives was caught having illicit relations with sheep and another was messing around with the King’s wife.
Shore tis a banal existence we keep in a banal world. The important thing is to keep the shoes dry while traveling or the mores.
Best regards,
Bob
