Seller Comments...
Lillian and The Sirens: The inspiration for this figure of a young lady came when Edward Longo was writing his novel called "Lillian of The Mermaids." This drawing is representative of Lillian's daughter, Justine, who poses for her mother semi-nude. The unusual thing about this aspect of the story is that Justine's portrait is depicted in her mother's paintings as riding on dolphins. This entire work of art was completed and shellacked circa 1995.
