A4 Giclee Fine Art Print of original artwork
The passenger/cargo vessel "St. Clair", the third vessel owned by the North of Scotland Orkney and Shetland Steam Navigation Company to bear that name, plunging into a trough off Sumburgh Head, as she hits the Roost, a famous tide race that runs between Sumburgh Head and Fair Isle. She is on her way to Aberdeen on her regular scheduled route. The ship was built in 1960, and the last side-loader to be built for the company before the era of ro-ro ferries began.
