This image was created by means of a technological process called "Projected Video Feedback." By connecting a video camera to a video projector and aiming the camera at the surface of projection, it is possible to generate imagery upon and around the human body that could never have been imagined in the past. In this case, the projector was configured in such a way as to generate lines that flowed away from either side of her body. This image was captured directly from video tape and not digitally altered in any way.
