This piece, of an animated semi-electric guitar with notation elements, represents the acoustic and electric sides to the history of ‘Jazz’ – featuring the guitar. This one’s a salute to Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow and Django Reinhardt. I used art glass, stones, dyes, acrylics, crystals, metal rods, speckled obsidian, silicon and lacquer.
This piece is not reproducible in print due to its three dimensional qualities.
