Georgia O'Keeffe has been an inspiration to me. Her painting, "Light from the Plain" shown here as a reproduction in an open book, serves as the backdrop for the rest of the still life setup. I used fabrics to suggest a landscape, patterning them with southwest motifs, and a ribbon for the "road" that penguins from my collection are traveling, drawn by the power of O'Keeffe's work.
