Seller Comments...
What first inspired me to do sculptures. A friend and I was coming home from buggy boarding in Lahina, Maui, we were going too get lunch on front street. And I stepped into Lason Gallery. There was this very beautiful whale sculpture on a spinning table. I looked at my friend and said, “I can do this." Of course, his response was. “Ya Right”. So that was it for me this was what I decided too do. All I needed too know was how do I make a bronzed sculptors?.
I was working at the Ritz Carlton at this time and they would have
Hula dancing. Now for those of you who have never seen really good Hula dancing, female or male, well let me tell you it is intoxicating too say the lest. One very shapely local girl who danced with fog from a machine and Tiki Lanterns around her especially entranced me. I could not go back too work until she was done. These young lady was my inspiration for sculpting Hula dancers
These are my first.
