The picture was hard for me to paint because I was working on it, during the Second Lebanon war began in Israel. And I have devoted this picture to all victims' simple people from two sides.
I wished to convey fragility and defencelessness's of the person before aggression. Human aspiration to normal simple life with small pleasures. Fragility of one’s life which is as easy to blow out as fire of a candle.
Because of ambitions in politics, struggle for authority and money, people from the different countries, of different aspirations and religions became victims. There are no connections among them.
I have not noted neither a gender, nor color of the skin, only a figure, and faces of unknown people appearing on a black background, hands of unknown people depriving human’s right to a normal life.
