This was a trip i had out with my freind gary he was one of fourteen kids.
All my mates had planned a trip out from home to the country side about eight miles away from were we all lived in the british summer time.

Me and gary were the only kids amongst them that hagd no bike to go with . so we quickly got creative otherer wise we would have been left behind. so we went to the local dump and pict up a a bisycle frame that we had found collected another wheel from another ditch . got a old wheel from is back garden and a presto we were in business..

sadly the back wheel had no rubber tye on it just the metal rim.. but under detered we took it in turns in riding the bike while one of us run behind with a peice of string attached.. we finally got to our destination, exhasted some what. and nearly killed by the traffic flying past us beeping there hooters.. only to find how loyal mates who were ahead of us were on there way back. laughing at our attempts..
it was a good day out all the same and a kids adventure fullfilled.
