This is an actual bronze landscape. I wanted to try to capture landscape images in bronze, with a combination of drawing, texture and form. This piece was dirived from a drawing of the fences through the morning mist up in the Ya Ha Tinda. Ten riders went up to the mountains and rode for 7 days. I sat down at fence level and saw and amazing combination of crosses that were naturally formed by the fenceline. As I studied them, it became apparent of the need for these crosses to be protrayed in two dimensions. This is an interesting realm for bronze, made 1/1 by the artist.
