"Piece of Cake" is a 14" x 19" watercolor and mixed media painting. The symbolism of the eight arm figure depicts the condition most women live with so commonly known as "multi-tasking" today. In the shadows we see that which is fueling her subconscious; and in the foreground, bordered by needlework, is the treasured secret to her success at performing her multiple roles- chocolate cake. "Piece of Cake" is framed under plexiglass with a museum board mat, and stained oak molding.
