Bronze, 1999.

The dinosaur remains that I included in this piece include troodon (that's the one you see in this photo), compsagnathus, dilophosaurus, and deinonychus. I drew a lot of influence from the infamous photos from the National Geographic article on Pompeii. The skeleton you see curled up in the fetal position next to the troodon is a direct reference to the "Ring Lady".
