Painting Inspiration:
Since Steve bought the Feroza, I've been able to nab it and head up the Cape on getaway campouts. There is something so special and vibrant about the colours and energy about Peron Peninsula. The fact that the tracks are 4 wheel drive all the way to the Cape and back from the homestead is just fabulous. You can always find a spot on your own.
The rich red rusted browns have a hugely earthing effect, especially at Big Lagoon the jade and sand winding tidal channels are so highly contrasted with the pindan cliffs eroding into the pink beach sands.
The area here in a larger view is like a finely crafted and intricately coloured etching.
I can't believe I made the effort so few times in the year or so I spent here to get out in the beauty of François Peron Peninsula National Park.
Just something you have to personally see to believe these colours. Just Great!!
