BARBARA ANDOLSEK Why do I paint? That's the basic mission of an artist's statement, answering why. I've been attracted to the visual since I was a child and children, as we know, don't have to explain the why of it. They simply do what comes natural; loving to learn and experiment with the what ifs of life. I don't paint for the money; I paint for the funds to keep painting.
